    And this year I have already seen since January, The Pretenders, Billy Joel/Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band X 2 and Sonny Rollins, Napoleon Murphy Brock (former Frank Zappa and the Mothers member) with the Austin area Paul Green School of Rock this show was AWESOME, they played all Zappa tunes and the kids were GREAT, saw lots of good stuff at SXSW here in Austin.

    I also have the privilege is what I call it of living in Austin, TX and get to see lots of good Music all year round, one of the things I feel I am lucky to see on a regular basis is Ian Maclagan and The Bump band play here in Austin at the Lucky Lounge during Thursday happy hour, it's FREE, for those who don't know Ian Maclagan played with the Small Faces and The Faces. These shows are very high energy and The Bump Band are all great musicians and Ian is a TRUE Rock and Roll icon and legend, his new album is great also.

    Oh well just counting the days till the ACL Fest, everyone out here on the Pearl Jam form, please enjoy your shows this summer and PLEASE be careful out there, be aware of your surroundings, have someone who is able to drive do it if you've had to much and remember enjoy every sandwich as it may be the last, we don't want to have to read about any tragedy that could have easily been avoided. As they used to say on Hill Street Blues, "Let's be careful out there."
