Anyone else digging this band?

For the past few months i've been listening to their album Why There Are Mountains and i really enjoy it.

Very 90's indie rock sound (pavement, modest mouse, built to spill etc). some cool guitar sounds all over the album with soem catchy songs.

I can't be the only one here who digs these guys right? Anyone seen them live how are they?

If interested i wrote a little review of the album:

  • Definitely a fan. Just started listening to them in the past month or so. "Wind Phoenix" puts a smile on my face.

to each their own, i don't hear emo at all though. Maybe i don't know what emo is i always thought it was bands like My Chemical Romance, Fall out Boy, and stuff like that.

I don't think he is a good singer i think he has that indie rock voice. Glad some other folks dig them. I have not seen them live i really hope they tour down south soon

Super Pavement-y at times. I'm looking forward to catching them at Pitchfork.

That is cool you'll have to let us know how they are.

I'm actually excited for their next album even though they haven't started it... i kind of want to hear how their sound progresses.
