I got Yusef Islam's Autograph today

I met Yusef Islam (Cat Stevens) today and got a couple records signed. He is one of the MOST RARE and Difficult Autographs to acquire...Very cool

    That is really cool! I got Yusef's album "Another cup of Yusef" and it is pretty good but I liked Cat Stevens stuff alot more. Where did you meet him at? Again, this is very cool. :D

    NYC. Thanks. I am so fucking stoked that I will not sleep for a while tonight...this guy is in my favorite musician top 10 list...Check out his latest album "roadsinger". It is EXCELLENT.

    I have to check that out. thanks. I'm stoked for ya too man. Until I saw that "Another cup of Yusef" cd I really thought the guy had just dissapeared and fell off the face of the earth musically. My dad got me into him when I was about 12 with the "Tea for the till man album" love that album then went out and bought a greatest hits and have gotten 2 more albums + the Magikat dvd (amazing dvd).

    Awesome. I'm a huge Cat Stevens fan. He played in LA this Monday. I was away on business and probably would't have made it in.

    But it looks like he may tour the states.

    That would be sick.

    cool, I actually won the jimmy fallon band bench sweepstakes (for the second time in two weeks, saw ben harper last week) and am seeing yusuf perform on that show tomorrow. Its really cool, they put you on catwalks surrounding the stage kinda like watching from the wings except your within 10 feet of the artist

    I LOVE his work whether as Cat Stevens or Yusuf Islam, he has the most beautiful voice... actually, he was interviewed on the news this morning while I was in the doctors... Not only is he talented but he's also such a lovely, humble man :D
    Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

    ... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
