What a great show! Saw him last night in Detroit and it was a classic. Came on around 8:05p and took a break around 9:15p. Back on stage around 9:40p and sang til 11:20p! If you get a chance to see him I'd say do it. Great backing band/singers, very tight. 74 years old and skipping across the stage :)
If you have a chance to make life better for others, and fail to do so, you are wasting your time on this earth.

just picked up a two disc best of and i love him. not a bad thing to say about him. My friend got to go to the show in chicago, I didn't have any cash when tickets went on sale they went quick. he plays for about 3 hours every night and i find that amazing. I just read a rolling stone article and he mentioned that one of the big reasons he's touring is cause his manager basically stole all his money and there's still a pending lawsuit. he's an amazing artist. you guys should check out his hall of fame induction by none other than mr. lou reed.

My father got me listening to Leonard when I was a teenager. The man is an amazing songwriter...I still have a VHS tape my dad recorded when he did Austin City Limits in the late 80's...aahhh, the Partisan. Its the only reason I still have a VCR!

I saw him with 3 friends in NYC this past Saturday night. It was the first Cohen show for all of us and was a truly amazing show. I hope he comes back around at some point. I'd love to see him again.
You see me empty, Sir, do not pause and inquire, simply assume and refill.
