Looks like they are doing another round of acousic shows in europe, australia & south america. Never caught this last year but i might do this time.

If you have a chance to make one of these shows do it. You won't be disappointed. It was really great to hear the two of them in an acoustic setting. It gives you a chance to see how great of singers they are, especially Mark. The setlist from the shows were good too with a lot of variety from their bands / solo material and a few covers. I wish they were coming back to the states.

if you can, go see Duli and Lanegan... saw them in a small venue in brooklyn and OMG it was so freaking awesome.. besides lanegan/duli solo stuff and the gutter twins, get to know some twilight singers!

Gutter Twins was awesome.
Caught the show in New Orleans in 07.
I'm sure these acoustic shows will be equally bad ass.

If you can get to it, anyone who can, SHOULD go.

i couldn't find any official info on this. the webster hall website still shows them on for may 27th and ticketmaster is showing the same date as well

Due to unavoidable circumstances I am disappointed and sorry to
announce that we have had to postpone NYC,
San francisco and Los Angeles concerts until September this year.
For anyone who has bought tickets, these tickets will still be valid in
September. And I am sorry for any inconvenience.
The good news is that
there will be a more extensive U.S and Canadian tour at this time.

i wonder what's up. this is the second time out of 3 times i've wanted to see lanegan that the show has been postponed. when he was on tour with soulsavers, same thing happened but i was not able to make the postponed show and had to get a refund=(

maybe he is hard at work on some new material or something... i think i can forgive him if that's the case.

i have a few other things going on in september and hope this does not conflict with them!

In previous posts Isobel has talked about how financially difficult it is to put together a US tour. I think it has much less to do with Mark than it does the financial realities for musicians these days.

This is what I was thinking. I really hope their planning on putting a bigger tour together. Maybe something a little closer to me.

He said he is doing another solo album next along with another soulsavers album. Probably end of year, early next year?

does he ever sleep? i hope not cause everything he does is freaking awesome. i LOVE PEARL JAM, but i think i can name more songs i dislike from them than i can from anything lanegan has ever touched.
