Does anyone know where I can find Scott Stapp's Birdman Demos? Also - the 1995 Scott Stapp Tour Movie (it's about 4 hours of music while he lays in his car for 4 months straight)

I thought this was just a terrible, and LATE, april fools joke. Then I wiki'ed this, and puked up half of my stomach. Who in heaven, hell, or this plane want them to get back together?!?! More of, though, WHO CARES?!?!

If we don't talk about it maybe they'll go away . . .
  • As much as we all hate them (myself most definitely included), they were a huge act at their peak, and I'm willing to bet they will have a pretty successful reunion tour.

I heard on DVE today that rumor has it their tour will be starting in Pittsburgh Aug. 6. SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

I actually think their reunion will be very poor. They will struggle to get people to the shows. Lots of free tickets will be available. They are kind of like a boy band; most people that listened to them in their hey day are embarassed to admit it.

My Neighbor once let me back my car over his Creed CD's :)
Apparently, an ex-girlfriend had left them at his house...or at least that was his excuse.
Let me tell ya...crushing those goddamn albums into the driveway was hella cool.

But now this whole talk of a Creed reunion and even worse, a new album...has me utterly disturbed.

I thought the horrid music of Creed was forever buried.

I guess once again we'll just have to bare down and endure. We'll just have to accept the fact that these shit farmers are once again going to be polluting the airwaves with their wretched mediocre Jesus freak gibberish.

Christ!!! It's amazing how 11 million people bought this bullshit. I hope for the sake of Rock'n'Roll and Human Kind in general that those same 11 million people woke up from whatever goddamn spell Scott Stapp and his shit wizards put on them, and ignore this fucking reunion and join all of us with one hand plugging our ears and the other finger down our throats.

Hopefully, as we collectivley vomit this music back into the sewers that sprung it, Stapp and his gang of dickbags will be rightfully back tending the McDonalds drive thru.

Perhaps the world can finally put this dark wretched saga behind us and gracefully move on.

I am very embarrassed to admit it, but when I was a lot younger I asked for a Creed album for christmas. I was VERY young, and they were the band everyone in school was listening to, so I got into them. I've burned that CD since, and realized the error and stupidity of my ways. I realized all of this a few months after I got that CD. My roommates right now know that I hate Creed, so they always bring them up somewhere to bug me. And my cousins in chicago gave me a lot of crap for wanting that CD. They said "It's ok, we all have bands we like that are bad." I laugh in retrospect.

I still think a few of the songs on their first album are pretty good. I retain this opinion because at the time I heard those songs I had no idea how annoying Stapp could be. But by the time Human Clay came out I was already a bit wary. All it took was my first listen to With Arms Wide Open. I recall the look on my face was the same as if someone had cut a stinky fart. It is just a terrible song. Just awful. There's no coming back from such an abomination.
It is time to admit that we used to rock like hurricanes. It is time to run for the hills and go round and round. It is time for us to shout at the devil. We've got the right to choose it, there ain't no way we'll lose it, and we're not gonna take it anymore.
