DUBLIN: Record Store Day (Sat 16th April)

Anyone in Dublin who's sitting around with nothing to do tomorrow should head into Road Records (off George's St) for Record Store Day. Theyve got 10% off all day, Dinsaur Jr skateboard raffle, some limited edition compilations and some kick ass instore live sets planned:

12 noon - Paul Noonan (Bell X1) & Lisa Hannigan
1.30 - Villagers (ex "The Immediate")
3.00 - Neil Hannon (Divine Comedy)
5.00 - Jape

Get out & support your local independant record stores people!!!

    Gah! So pissed off, I had to work all day. I wanted to go hang out at Road Records :(

    I ended up missing it too. Ah well, must remember to make the time for it next year!

    aye the 18th i think is what ya meant!

    Tower, Road, City Discs all did things for it in Dublin while Plugd in Cork had some stuff too!

    Raging I missed it as living in Liverpool wasn't going to help! I did miss it here to though!

    here it is! it's beside The Market Bar on Fade St (just off Georges St). from Grafton st just walk towards & pass the Powerscourt town centre, then turn left before the Georges St Arcade, and it'll be on the right.

    there's a yellow front on the shop, and its VERY small
