Kings of Leon tour starts this weekend...

Anyone planning on hitting any shows? I'll be checking them out in Pittsburgh. First time seeing them live, didn't get to catch them open for PJ on the last tour. Love their entire catalog so I'm really getting wired up for this one.

    I am going to the philly show next week on Saturday. however, my ride can't make it :(
    I am selling their tickets.
    Now I am trying to see how I can get there by public transportation from NYC.

    besides that downer, I'm super excited to go see them :)

    i will also be checking out the pittsburgh show. i didn't get to see them on the PJ tour either, as i went to the DC show and ted leo opened. i'm excited for the show, but wish it was a different day because for once, there are actually 2 other shows around here that i want to see on the same day. that never happens!

    I'll be at the Pittsburgh show, too. Live in South Side so it's an easy walk over. Can't wait ... it'll be my first time seeing them.

    maaaaaaaaaaaan I so with I could swing it. I've only got a couple of days with my parents, so it wouldn't be fair... I do have 2 extra seats for the Santa Barbara show on may 17 :-)

    Their old stuff was great I just don't like the new album. I'm sure they still put on a rockin show though.

    I will be at St. Augastine,,,,,then Orlando,,,,,then Miami,,,,and capping off in Tampa,,,,,,,and I can't fuckin wait......brings May in just nicely.....Then June comes and I see Ed Ved twice in a week! 8-)8-)8-) That will kick my summer in just right as well.......................... 8-)

    Caught the Boston show last night. First time seeing KOL and man they put on a kick ass show. They pulled out tons of their older material throughout. I think they probably played 5-6 songs off Only by the Night. but it was a high energy show and the crowd was loving it. I will definately look into seeing them the next time they roll through Boston. To all those who are going to the other shows, enjoy!

    NICE!!!! what an awesome run of shows for you :-) I have KOL 5/17, Ben Harper 5/22, Eddie 6/11&12, then KOL again 8/22...something to look forward to!

    It's great you had a good time on your first KOL show. They are def great live.
    What time did they go onstage and what time did the show end?

    Thanks. They went on stage at roughly 9pm and it ended about 10:45-11pm. They played a pretty long set and then came on for about a 6 song encore. Still can't get over how good it was.

    I still think they could squeeze out a couple more songs. They were off the stage by 10:40 or so last night. I thought they were going to do another song, but they didn't. Not sure what the venue curfew was. Nice encore, though, with Closer, Knocked Up, Manhatten, Devil Song, and Black Thumbnail. Right before Manhatten, it sounded like Caleb was strumming the chords for Arizona, and I got excited for a second.

    Saturday in Boston was another great KOL show. Would have to say the highlight was hearing "Red Morning Light" because I had never heard it live. Such a sick song! The stage setup and lights, etc. are really cool for this tour. Enjoy!
