i've seen KOL at least four times since their first album came out and for the life of me i cannot like this band. i tried though. i really did. even sat front row when they opened for pearl jam in columbia, sc and was bored out of my mind. it is beyond me how they're called "the most popular band in rock" right now..or whatever rollingstone called them.
Why aren't we comparing photos from the release of their FIRST album, Youth and Young Manhood? Then we'll see the REAL transition.
Or even Aha, either way you cut it, there image has changed significantly

i think they are...or at least perceived as such
this girl in my office has been to britney spears, new kids on the block and a bunch of other junk in the past few months.
she just walked askin me if i went to KOL last night.
i was confused
asked her how did you like going to an actual concert?
responded with, "they're so cute"
i don't really care what they look like, or how they dress. I like their music, their sound...that is still unique, whether you love them or hate them.

Sex On Fire..you can instantly love this song...however it's rather repetitive so it's quite easy to get fed up with it...but Use Somebody is so overplayed I really hated that song by the 5th listen :(
Great band though especially the early stuffs

My local radio station talks about KOL like they are the f'n Beatles or something. My god!!! They aren't even close to being good!
Pretty sure if Led Zep ever tours again, that will be the second headline of the day at this station. The first will certainly have to do with Kings of Fuckin' Leon!

Nothing against the bands you mention, but, I'm seeing KOL here in SF on Thursday and The Walkmen are opening up ... they still better be on the bill.

I meant that Pearl Jam have always just dressed how they want...no pretense.
Kings of Leon have changed for marketing purposes.
