Lupe's exciting. I hope Kanye's is better than that last one. I respect him trying to branch out and feeling the need to try something new... but that album sucked.
I head there is going to be a new MGMT this summer along with the debut album of Alberta Cross. If you have not heard of Alberta Cross yet look them up right now!!!

Also, I'm really enjoying the new Morrissey album.....It's Not Your Birthday Anymore is beautiful...
Word is that bob has been recording with some of the Heartbreakers...I'm always looking forward to some new dylan.
I let the release of Isbell's new one slip up on me and didn't get it pre-ordered, but the three songs I have heard are pretty frickin' great....especially Cigarettes and Wine. I still need to get Dan Auerbach's too...damn it I hate being behind. I really wish he would be added to the Bonnaroo lineup..possibly including a mini-reunion with the DBTs! That would be great. What are everyone's thoughts on the new album?
Manchester Orchestra has a new one coming and it sounds good from what I've heard.
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
I just got into Massive Attack, and I absolutely love 'em...I picked up Mezzanine and hope to get more of their stuff.

Well the year is almost half over, what are people's thoughts so far??
Silversun Pickups-Swoon
I haven't had a chance to listen to it a lot, but I like what I hear so far.
Placebo-Battle For The Sun
Classic Placebo so far from the couple on spins I've giving it. Although I'd say following in Meds direction of being a little more snythy then their earlier stuff. Or maybe I just don't remember. I dunno, leave me alone!
Idlewild-Post Electric Blues
Just got this in the mail today. I pre-ordered it, and the guys are self-releasing it this go round. Not sure when its getting a general release, but my name is in the liner notes! :ugeek:
I've listened to it once so far, so I can't really comment
Only other thing I'm looking forward to is new Pearl Jam, and maybe the new AiC. Never was a big AiC fan, so not sure if I'm going to get on board with this one or not.

Yes, I am wondering the same thing. Even if they are recording though it will probably be another 3 years before we get to hear it.
There was a blurb about them on Msn news around a month ago about them booking the studio or something along the lines of prepping for a new album.

Except the bass player and drummer for Wolfmother quit, so the only original member is Andrew, and no one cares about them anymore.
