New music in the UK - help?

I've grown weary waiting for something awesome to come along and hit me in the chops!
I think the last new band to excite me where Wolfmother so we're talking a good 3 years ago.
There's gotta be some people on here who can point me in the direction of some new and exciting (preferably rock) music... Ideally UK based so I can check em out live but I'm open to any suggestions from elsewhere in the world.

I got their cd free as a subscriber to Classic Rock magazine, it's pretty decent. From Northern Ireland I think.

The album is called 'Mix Tape'.
Nine Black Alps - From Manchester. When they were coming around, they were tagged with "the new Nirvana". Don't let that fool you though, they have a sound of their own. Has 2 albums out.

Jaded Sun - From Dublin. I've mentioned these guys here before. They're my favourite "new" band, and in my personal opinion they released the best debut since Ten. Class act, modern rock with a lot of blues, some grunge and fantastic vocals.
