Where does it call them sellouts? Was it on the broadcast or were you just calling them sellouts.

I guess i was not clear enough, but the DJ went on a bit of a tirade condemning PJ and implying they were sellouts.

My point, however, is not that the DJ is a jerk or the guy who wrote on the site is an idiot, or that the station WBCN sucks, they actually plays alot of PJ, albeit old stuff.

My point is the fact that this "bad press" is out there, on the airwaves . . . and i think as fans we should be prepared for a bit of bad press and a backlash of sorts from the "rock press" from now until the release date.

Im from jersey...close. I hate boston because I've had 3 visits to the bostons childrens hospital years ago unexpectedly because of my heart problem. I hate that place, plus the last time I was there their roads were terrible.

Seems backwards, you should like the city if it happens to have world class hospitals that enable you to get medical care that you couldn't get in the great state of New Jersey.
    This weekend we rock Portland

  • I was listening to the radio in Champaign, IL yesterday morning and the dj's were going over their list of the best/worst bands of the 90s. The one guy was dead on with his "best" list, and mentioned all the great rock bands, both mainstream and obscure. However, no mention of PJ. Then, after they talked about their "worst" list, they played Small Town, at which time the dj who had previously been dead on said PJ should have been on his "worst" list, and compared them to Creed.

At that time, I changed the station.

Off topic, but just a point that not everyone likes Pearl Jam or understands them for that matter.

Imagine a DJ on a Radio Station calling someone a sellout!!
    That's priceless.

"Hey this is Rockin' Rod...and we're rockin' on into the weekend with Nickelback on Boston's only Rock'n'Roll option...WBCN"

    What a Joke
Radio is the biggest sellout whore around

How are people being "soaked" when they can voluntarily purchase the product or not ? At four different price levels no less.
