Is anyone here a Couch Surfer?

I just heard about this through a friend about a week ago. Its a pretty sweet little community for travelers around the world. You sign up to loan your couch out to someone who needs one while traveling. Or if you are traveling you can find couches to crash on. Which I think is pretty cool I feel like you would get to experience the cities you travel to in a different way. Sometimes the person(s) hosting you will offer to take you around the city and show you what you want to see. So I signed up my couch is open to anyone. I guess I shouldn't say my couch because I live with 22 people. But Our couch is open to anyone traveling thorough MI.

    i don't open links while at work, and i don't open my home to random strangers either. :p


    however, i have done more than my fair share of 'couch surfing'....although i usually refer to it as 'sofa surfing'.....just think it sounds better, rolls off the tongue easily. ;) in fact, last euro-tour i did some mega sofa surfing, for 2 weeks! however, always on friend's sofa's, even if i had not actually *met* them until the day i showed up in their country. :) i have offered my sofa to many friends as well, but so far, never more than one at a time...so they actually got the guest bedroom. :D

    Yeah I live in a Co Op. Cooperative living. We all chip in around the house and keep it clean. We cook home cooked meals Sunday - Thursday. Men and Women both live there its great. To top it all off I can honestly say everyone I live with is great friend that would do anything for me and vise versa.
