Getting Married Today!

Wish me luck! I'm beyond excited. My soon to be wife was even cool enough to let the band close the party by playing Yellow Ledbetter!

    Congrats. My six month anniversary was yesterday. That's cool about YLB. My wedding became more Pearl Jam related than I anticipated. We danced to the "Can't Help Falling Love" cover, my groom's cake was an IPod with the Pearl Jam stickman in the window, and my best man gave me a Pearl Jam related toast. I only wish now that I would've thought about YLB.

    Anyways, good luck and make sure you take the time to pay attention to every moment. After hearing that everything flies by at the wedding and reception, I made sure I paid attention to every moment so I would forget nothing.

    thats cool you're able to tie in some PJ, because you can kinda lose sight about everything on a wedding day, but bein' able to incorporate stuff like that is what makes the day so much fun. well, that and the nookie later on...haha :D Congratulations! Good luck to you guys...

    Indeed it is important to have those songs that mean something to you, be part of that day, no matter whether they "fit" in a wedding or not. Music is a huge part of my life so I wouldn't have it any other way.

    Thanks for the well wishes! The wedding was amazing, and was over way too fast, but I had the best time. It was, by far, the best day of my life. My wife looked beyond beautiful in her dress, and everything went so smooth, it was virtually stress free.

    The band was amazing! They were really cool and let me join them for two songs on the guitar, which turned into three when the crowd started chanting, "Encore!"

    One of the last songs played was "Elderly Woman" followed by Ledbetter.

    And all you Broadway Blueshirts fans out there will appreciate this, she was wearing a New Rangers garter!

    I'm exhausted though.

    Congrats! Glad everything went smoothly and very cool about EW and YL. Sounds like you're in for a great marriage. We're coming up on 30 years and it's been great. I wish the same for you both. :)
