now they should trade him to the vikings for more picks. That would really piss the packers off.

  • They'll release Pennington, who will sign with the Vikings. maybe they'll trade him there to get a pick back

Your probably right. Pennington could probably start for 10 teams right now. Hopefully my Niners make a move for him. Pennington looks like Joe Montana compared to Alex Smith. I'm sure Bears fans feel the same about their QB mess.

I would love it if they did that, and this is comming from a Packer fan. I'd love it because it would stick it in the face of that fucking asshole Ted Thompson. Fuck you Ted Thompson you arrogant prick. You ruined this, and i'm so pissed about it. Yes Brett should have made up his mind quicker on whether he was playing or retiring the past couple seasons, however once he wanted back they should have welcomed him with open arms. This guy gave EVERYTHING he had to this organization for 16 years, and didn't miss a single game. Now they basically shoved him out the door, what a fucking joke.

I have nothing against Rogers, although I have zero faith in the guy. I am however hoping he fails miserably, so the Ted Thompson era in GB ends as soon as possible. It's Thompson's ass if Rogers sucks. I'm putting my Packer fandom on hiatus. I will be a Packer fan again once Ted Fucking Asshole Thompson is no longer running or should I say ruining the team. His job was to make this team as good as possible. There is no way this team is not a better team with Favre on the roster than without him on it. Once they said that he was going to be part of the team Sunday I thought everything was settled. First those fuckers tried buying him out to stay retired, what a fucking disgrace, now they said he was welcome back and now they shove him out the door.

There is a lot, a lot more to the story, that went on behind closed doors. My feeling is that Ted Thompson was trying to force Brett out for the last 3 years and that's why Brett took so long to decide. He did this because HE drafted Rogers and he wants it to be his team and it's not his team as long as Brett is under center, and that is complete BULL SHIT. His job is to make the team the best it possibly can. No question that's with Brett on it. Once Brett is truly done and on his way into the HOF, the truth will come out and Ted Thompson will look like the asshole that he is.

One pissed off FORMER Packer fan.

He may well but HOW, HOW do you not welcome this guy back with open arms if he wants to play for you. What a fucking joke. It's going to be an ugly, ugly scene at Packer games this year.

Wow, as a huge Jet fan I have mixed feelings about this. I love Pennington and was looking forward to struggling through another season with the guy and maybe, just maybe get us back into the playoffs..oh well, I know Brett gives us a better shot at a ring..though as a true Jet fan, I'm still going to be expecting the worst as per usual..

  • as a season ticket holder, im not sure how to feel about this deal. the guys a warrior but he seems like an ego maniac. its a definite upgrade so maybe we have a shot at the wildcard this year..

He may have a ego but Brett in some way has earned that right. I am more upset now with the way the front office of the packers has delt with this.

I am trying to be open minded........look at last year, most people predicted us to be 4-12 last year but we were 3 points away from the Superbowl.

Believe me the organization, Thompson mainly, are assholes. They were complete fucking assholes on this. Like I said, Favre can't say much now, but the truth will come out once he's truly done playing and Ted Thompson will be exposed for the fucking prick he is.
