AEROSMITH, PEARL JAM Members Sign On For EXPERIENCE HENDRIX

The Experience Hendrix tour, a five-week long cross-country tour featuring an all-star line up of music greats paying homage to the music and legacy of Jimi Hendrix launches this month. As the 19-date tour that kicks off in New Hampshire on October 14 barnstorms the continent, it will be joined by numerous special guests along the way. Guests committed to joining the touring group for performances across the country includes Mike McCready of PEARL JAM, AEROSMITH's Brad Whitford, Robby Krieger of THE DOORS, Cesar Rosas and David Hidalgo of LOS LOBOS, blues scion Bernard Allison, Texas blues rocker and Eric Clapton sidekick Doyle Bramhall II and KID ROCK guitarist Kenny Olson.

    anyone know if Mike is only going to be playing the west coast shows??

    if he is coming to the Orpheum I'm there!!!!

    Can you site your source? The Experience website does not list an appearance by Mike, although it does mention he participated in the tour in 2004.

    the website reads as if mike will be on of the special guests at specific shows as he is not mentioned in the core announcement of players...

    13 hours 39 mins drive for me, halifax style!
    too far drive for me. but if there's a dec 4th -7th montreal gig though ..
    (will be in montreal for a schluter all expensive payed trip)

    Sorry, but Mike McCready is not scheduled to perform on the 2008
    Experience Hendrix Tour. He was a performer during the West Coast Tour in 2002.
