    This is a smart strategy.  Delay the trial until after the election.  If he loses, he will be retired and will probably settle a guilty plea with no time served.  I'm not sure that the DOJ would accept it, but there's a chance.  If he wins, even better; self pardon.

    Good question. Would be appealed and perhaps moved to have her removed as the delay would be argued to injure the People..... Prosecution has a right to a speedy trial as well you know.
    One thing here to watch , since their cases are enjoined, is how Nauta 's team does things.....There's a real delay avenue....
