Those 10club poster tubes are damn strong. How the hell did this happen?!?

That sucks.  My Baltimore Oriole variant from Ames showed up with the exact same dent and the poster had a repeating crease from top to bottom where the tube was damaged.  I sent them photos of the tube and the damaged poster and they replaced it.  But I was a little chapped that although they agreed to replace it, they told me I should be more careful removing the poster from the tube?!?   Basically implying I damaged it and not the post office.  I was tempted to email them back and suggest they upgrade the quality of their poster tubes when people are them paying $200 for a poster.  🤦🏻‍♂️

Never had a problem with the tubes before, and I have ordered my fair share of posters. Definitely not blaming the tube or the club, but just an unfortunate postal service experience. To their credit, the club already responded to my email and will be replacing it. Thank you @Santos L. Halper and crew!

Ya I had my autographed mike mccready Brian fox poster that cost over 200 bucks. They couldn’t replace it being a limited run so they offered other merch. You think the more expensive prints would a little more protected

I got a red A/P (monster guy) from Fenway 2018. It was rain damaged. The tube, the poster, everything.

The artist replaced it for free.

    That's my story.

i have received tubes in the past from 10 club, and they are not sturdy. i cant speak on this print run, but 10 club is playing with fire with their tubes if you ask me

I received a damaged Barcelona print from 10c, emailed them, basically told me to pound sand, nothing they could do, keep it as is or send back for refund, offered no replacement, not even a different poster- so i kept it but it hurts to look at it. Never had a problem before from 10c. The tubes they use are kinda sturdy, but would be better if they used a thicker and larger diameter tube, like a yazoo.
The best poster tubes were the old Mondo tubes that split in the middle so you dont have to jam your fist in to get the print out

Agreed.  Ames uses the same ones.  Not a big deal on a $35 poster but some of these variants are getting pretty pricey and they should bump up to a yazoo in those cases.

The old Mondo tubes were pretty good. It was funny seeing folks using tools to open the end caps. Lol

Yes, the tubes they have been using lately are way too small in diameter. They used to use bigger ones

Thank you 10C, thank you Santos. I got my poster order today--the birch one--and I really like it. Having attended Show 2, I wish that date was on it one way or another, but I have a number of posters and this one is a fave. Maybe b/c I'm from this area. Is that the Ferris wheel or an abstract design?  Anyway, I really like the simple red/black/white colors, and the birch gives it a rustic northwest feel. I picked up a frame and now I need to find some wall space. The second poster was a bit like getting a mystery box, and a very nice touch. I received an Eddie Vedder Klausen poster from 2009 I think--it has a tear and a dent, but I might find a frame for it just the same, as it has a couple Hawaii show dates. Very cool, and a nice way to end a Friday.

Thanks for the confirmation! I still haven't been on that thing. I saw they're serving dinner there now. I like the Rainier--it seems the birch really pops through the black there.
