    Stone's written some of Pearl Jam's best songs. I hope he contributes a lot in that department with the next album.

    to me , Stone is second to Ed when it comes to a Pearl Jam member that can not be replaced. Ed - cause of his voice, Stone - cause of his writing skills, he makes the most original songs compared to the others. My personal favourite songwriter in Pearl Jam. Stone if you read this , please write a few hard rocking tunes for the new one like only you know !!!!!! :)

    He was totally animated on Conan, so maybe he has more of a connection to and is more excited about Backspacer than some of the more recent albums.

    I'm looking forward to the upcoming concerts so I can stare at him doing his riffs. I might watch Ed and the others once in while.

    Maybe instead of Ed doing a pre-show solo song, Stone can come out and sing Sunburn.
