Why the Oscars though? :i_dunno: He should do the Grammys this year.

I have several criticisms for the Oscars, but they have about a thousand times more credibility than the Grammys.

    Beautiful song.

They always leave someone out. This year it was Reg E Cathey from The Wire. He had a great baritone.

Amen.  Music awards are for best selling albums and a sham.  Oscars still has a s shred of legitimacy.

Read what he is playing but maybe I shouldn't spoil?
I posted it on the previous page.
It's one of the best songs from undoubtedly the most under rated album from this artist. Some truly delicious songs on that same record.
My favorite TP&tHB album. Swingin and Billy the Kid are great tunes.

Great song and Eddie did an awesome job with it.  Wildflowers is such an incredible album. 2017 was a rough year for losing great friends of the band.  Both Tom and Chris within 5 months of each other.

Excellent job.  I have it on about the same level as Sara Bareilles from last year, which was fantastic.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tytukozc-9Y

Great performance by Ed, as usual. He just keeps getting better with age.

Would’ve been a nice touch for Chris to be mentioned during In Memoriam though. He did write and record original songs to several films including The Promise, The Keeper, You Know My Name, Misery Chain and Live to Rise.
