Wtf! They ran out of hats

friend who went to the game yesterday said they ran out of hats fast. Wtf is that all about? Normally with promotions they say the first 20,000 or whatever.

    Wasn't that kind of promotion. You had to purchase a specif ticket type for the game. Without that specific ticket type, regular ticket holders need not apply.

    It wasn't a full stadium giveaway. You had to buy a specific ticket to get the hat. Also only could get hats until 4th inning or until supplies lasted. In my opinion if you purchased a specific ticket and you got there before it expired you should be guaranteed a hat. Although having to order hats in advance and not knowing how many tickets would be sold causes some issues.

    They also knew they oversold because they were giving away scarves from last year as backup

    I bought the tickets and had a friend go to the game. Maybe stick to the wh and excel spreadsheets
