    This would be awesome. Not catching any solo shows so far but a philly show would be sweet. JC dobbs is my bet if one happens.

    wow, Dobbs is right around the corner from my place. I can just walk over there.

    I guess I know where I'm going on Friday night!!

    Can't believe he played the Seeker last night...that must have been insane.

    Guys...can you imagine if Ed showed up at Dobbs? South Street would be swarmed with PJ fans...mass chaos!

    this is a killin me. I am sitting here at work, being non productive, refreshing all day, hoping someone hears or finds something. i will never forgive that funny thing called Life if EV shows up here tonight or whatever with us never getting word

    do people understand how rumors get started nowadays?

    someone just mentions something and its officially a rumor.
    if i were to start a thread and say how i heard a rumor that eddie is playing a secret show in philly, plenty of people will think im being honest -- even though im posting on a pearl jam message board and i have no information to back up my claim

    ex: some paper said phils manager charlie manuel was a big fan of ex red sox manny ramirez

    and then i read all in the philly papers and hear on the radio that manny is coming to philly

    ed isn't playing dobbs
    and he isn't playing 6 days in a row

    Trust me - theres no who tonight. And also IF he was to play tomorrow night, though I don't think it's going to happen, what's a little stop in Philly. That's not a long ride to DC Saturday morning.

    If you think for one second that Dobbs' booking manager wouldn't boot all of them off the bill the second Eddie Vedder said word one about playing the venue, then you know nothing about local music or local booking agents.

    this is all driving me crazy. I'm not heading down tonight, but i probably will tomorrow night. YOu really can't go wrong, if Ed doesn't show up, it's not like a Friday night on South Street is bad thing or anything :D
