Philly Shows Thursday and Friday?

Where do these rumors start! I just had 5 friends call me asking me if I knew if it were true...I mean they wouldve announced it already wouldnt they have? Why get my hopes so high! I already am going through PPJTD (Post Pearl Jam Tour Depression)

    I doubt he will add anymore shows, but you never know. There was also a rumor going around for a Memphis, TN show to benefit the WM3 that was nevered announced :(

    I wouldve thought nothing of it if it were 1 or 2 friends but 5 in a matter of an hour saying they heard it different ways made me think...wouldnt put it past Eddie to do something like that..I might just call some venues today to make myself sane

    Look...I'm going to say this right now...I'm sorry for this...I'm not trying to start a rumor or get anyones hopes up...I got a few calls and it peaked my curiosity to see if anyone else heard anything...please take this at face value and nothing more...if it happens...amazing...if it doesnt I'll go back into my hole until the next tour

    Well...actually one source is someone who usually gets very valid information thats the reason for the post...from what I understand this isnt "I read this on a message board" shit..whether there is TALK amongst Eddies camp or its going to happen we'll have to see...right now..no matter what the source..even if its from Eddies mouth...until I see it I wont believe it

    this rumor has been going around since Eddie mentioned Dobbs when they played in Camden.

    The one rumor was that he would be at Dobbs on South Street since he also mentioned there. I have been trying to find out but so far nothing. It has been driving me nuts!

    I was gonna say -- I could see him doing a short "secret" show on Friday somewhere like Dobbs.

    I don't the point in him adding a proper show at somewhere like Keswick. Not this late in the game.

    So he mentions the place the band first played Philly at and that means he's playing a secret show there? He's mentioned Dobbs every time I've seen them play in Philly.

    Stretch it a little further.... he'll be playing on a train since he has a conductor cap that the family of the innocent guy gave him. The show will be moving and it will be hard to find. He reserves the right to switch trains at any stop.

    For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!

    No, that is not why I think he is doing a secret show there. Besides him talking about it in Camden as well as at the REM show......Dobbs had been trying to get this accomplished.

    It was also in a few local papers.

    I was just answering someones question......no need for the sarcasm.

    Exactly. My neice does some PR work for them and she has been trying to get me info but they are being real tight lipped. That made me think it would happen but I would have thought it would have already happened. Oh well. At least I got to see him there the first time! LOL

    It is nice to dream though!

    I was listening to Matt Cord on WMMR last night he played the play of the day which was PJ covering 'The Boys are Back in Town' after the song he chuckled and said "Rumor" that Eddie is heading to Philly....

    The private event at the Keswick is the St Lukes Summer Stock performance of Alladin... cross the Keswick off that list, please.
