You say that Congress has evidence to impeach.  Yet,  they do not impeach.  LMFAO.  Congress is just as incompetent as your POTUS.
Team Trump Treason is not my POTUS. Putin on the ritz’s, for sure, but not mine.

Sounding like a liberal, message-board equivalent of Hannity.....

Difference being, one is justified and the other was totally misguided. Remind me again of how many Obama Administration officials were indicted, exclusive of the Hillary witch hunt. You’re okay with this Administration and it’s conduct and policies? There is not one redeeming value of Team Trump Treason. Now, if Obama relied upon Cuba or Kenya to interfere in our election to get elected and was pulling all the shit that the current Administration is, you’d have an argument. That not being the case, thanks for the false equivalency. Hard to believe you can’t see that?

Of course I see it! Come on. Obama's just another president, but of course one of the opposing party's top propagandists like Hannity is going to say that. Trump is a real-life evil villain that is a threat to all aspects of our society, so of course a citizen that opposes his outrageousness like yourself is going to say that. Believe me, I understand all that. I just found it funny that you said something verbatim that I remembered Hannity saying because your posts often read (to me anyway) like Hannityisms, but from the leftist view. And that's not to suggest that I think you're spouting bullshit or false propaganda. Not at all. It just reads like a talking-head on a cable news show. Four people sitting on an MSNBC panel yelling "Why won't Barr testify? What are they hiding?!" at each other. It's amusing.

I agree with you. And unfortunately while the context is extremely different between that "Obama's not my president" and H2TM's "Trump's not my president", I fear that statements like these are just another opportunity for Republican news networks to omit the context entirely, and simply sell topics like these to their own as "hypocritical liberals".

I really appreciate his latest statement, and it underlines something that has frustrated me terribly. Trump and his cronies keep saying, “no obstruction if there isn’t a underlying crime” Ahhhhh, hello! How many criminal convictions were there as a result of this investigation!?!? JFC

This is as close as anyone has really said "Trump First; Country Be Damned."  It's just another step toward the Trump Dynasty.

And the Dems?  Crickets.  What's Trump going to say about that en route to winning 45 states?  "They didn't try to impeach me because they had nothing on me."  The Dems are either outrageously impotent or are in on the planned theocratic dictatorship.  I think it's the former.

Q: Why does Justin Amash say that the National Suicide Hotline Improvement Act is unconstitutional? What part does it violate?

    A: Because he’s a hypocritical cretin.

He says that he’s all about limiting the federal government to specifically enumerated powers, but had absolutely no trouble at all supporting government overreach when a conservative project is on the table. For example, he is in favor of banning abortion at the federal level, including family planning and other resources.

Funny how all these “small-government” conservatives are all for big government as soon as they want something.

    Haha.

I don’t love that we’d even consider someone being honest and standing up for the rule of law a "hero."  But when a Republican challenges Trump, it’s at least a big story.  Sad!

Bet he looked at his state, had a meeting with his people and decided that "I am not at risk back home for going against the president" and did it.

I don't think he sat at home, drinking a glass of rosé and just got some feeling to be spontaneous.

If he was at risk - would he have done it?

I don’t care what motivates a person to do something. If you know something needs to be done, and someone else feels it should be done but for different reasons, why should that matter? That’s called real life - motivating people to coming around to the right way of thinking by putting it in terms of “what’s in it for me”.

Sorry for butting in, but..... I think motive is very, very important. Yes, results matter obviously, but the motivation behind actions always tells a big story, and usually guides the direction of whatever is at stake.

Never be sorry for butting in - this is a public discussion board and everyone’s welcome!

The motivations tell stories, which is why I think it’d be silly to look at this guy as anything ‘heroic’, but I don’t see any movement of the pendulum to act for noble reasons any time soon based on the (not all that recent) race to the bottom of the moral barrel from many Republicans. If you agree with that premise, and want results, then how do we get results if we’re to insist on the results for the right reasons?

Forgive me for being cynical, and as I always say on here, I would absolutely love to be wrong, but I don’t think we can have our cake and eat it too in this case, and I think we risk jeopardizing the results we want if we’re to insist on alignment on motives.

I'd say without context it's a meaningless blanket statement.

Benji: I want to kiss you, because I love you so much.
Person: I want to kiss you too, because the voices in my head force me to kiss people that disgust me.

Different motivations. I think you would care in that context.
