That's a bucket list show for sure. Long ways to go but imagine it would be well worth the trip

    4 shows.
Somehow make it so 10c gets dibs on all seats. Limit 2 tickets per member. The ones that don't sell after a certain date gets released to the public.

I'm still not sure it would happen. The venue only holds 10,000 people. PJ's trend is to play 18000 seat arenas or 45000 seats baseball stadiums. The smaller venue shows are getting far and fewer between.

It's always good to be optomistic, but I think the Venue size might be deal breaker.

In regards to it being 10c only. Who control's ticketing for the venue? If it's ticketmaster/livenation then it's not going to happen. If it's independent it might. I would feel bad for the locals though. I'd travel for it if they did it (red rocks is a bucket list item for me). It would be a destination show with less tickets for 4 nights than were sold for Wrigley on a single night... lol. Tickets would be a total crapshow.

Red Rocks seating capacity is 9,200

    Ticketing is handled by axs.com

So greater possibly for a fan club only show

I think calling it stupid is a bit overboard. It's a venue that holds about half the capacity of venues they usually play. Given that the band seems to be settling into more frequent but much smaller tours. It seems to me like they try to reach the most amount of fans while playing the least amount of shows. Hence why it's becoming less and less common for them to play small venues.

If Red Rocks had the same seating capacity as the Gorge it would probably be a no brainer.
  • hey lighten up francis ;)
ok...its just super, ummm not that smart of them, and super NOT COOL of them to not play the best venue in the states. imnsho
ride festival wasn't about the money and/or trying to reach the most amount of fans, right?
