"You'll be doing drugs in no time" MSG II

I was listening to my MSG night II boot, and I realized something I missed at the show and I thought was note worthy... close to the end of disk two... Eddie talks about a young kid he says that is "about 6 or 7" and that it was their first show ever! Then he says "you'll be doing drugs in no time"... I cant believe I missed that at the show and I don't know what to think of it, other than it is amusing.

    I have a 7 year old, AND I love Ed, but that is pretty fucked up...I guess I need to hear it before commenting in depth, but initially- "Come on Ed, Think"...It is easy to comment if you don't have kids, but when you do, you don't want them to hear shit like that...My kids listen to shows with me (some are edited by me prior)

    I would have to listen to it in context, he does have kids... his daughter is 4 years old so I can't imagine that he truly thinks every kid going to rock shows will be doing drugs in no time... I would definitely have to listen to the exact quote.

    my 4 year old listened to Habit last week and the next day I caught him using his sisters fake stethascope around his arm and trying to inject kool-aid into his veins...what will they think of next

    I don't know if he said it or not, if he did I think its hilarious.He's says a lot of funny ass things from time to time.If anyone takes anything like that seriously,you are a dee dee dee.If you didn't want your kids to hear that kind of humor then why are they at a PJ show anyway?The dreaded F word appears at the shows quite frequently so is the word drug worse than," FUCK", for your kids to hear.If so........whatever.     VERY good point indeed. Honestly though, chances are the kid will be on drugs soon enough. You all have been there and if you weren't, shame on you for being a tool. Just kidding......kind of. We all try or indulge in mind altering drugs. Either by prescription or not. Course then those same people get all warden-ish when they pop out a mini version of themselves. Stupid if you ask me. All this has nothing to do with what Ed says at any show. You are taking your child to a rock concert, not church. It would be like bringing them to a bar and complaining about all the smoke..............oh wait, we controlled that as a society too. Damn us for being so controlling of each other!

    Well there are drugs at shows and people share. Maybe it was a suggestion to not bring kids. I saw many kids at Camden shows. I would not bring my 12 year old.
