no. people were snapping away. One might even be able to tape the show for all to hear.

I didn't even try, because I knew Ed had a no camera policy. So that's the policy. A lot of people ignored it, but as far as I am concerned his wishes are my command :D

Not at all. I could have walked in with a bottle of wine if I wanted to.

They didn't, but a guy was saying that there were no cameras at all allowed in. Honestly, I would recommend against it. All the flashes were pretty annoying, and I was in the upper loge. If you have to do it, try to limit it. It's not like you'll forget it without the pictures :)

There were no bag checks and flashes were going constantly... it was actually very annoying to me, so I can't imagine how annoying it would be to him. I never even considered taking me camera I knew the policy and we all know Ed hates people constantly taking his photo, especially in such a small venue.

You seat (although I was agitating in my seat all night :D) most of the show, except for standing ovations and during Hard Sun :)

    Good deal.

It's a sit-down affair. There were alot of standing ovations after songs but then people sat back down, only Hard Sun had people standing up the whole time. It's actually very intimate and chilled-out, you don't want to stand (cause I'm all about standing in concerts, but not at these sorts of shows).

they also stood during Arc, which was definitely a 'religious experience'.

getting back to cameras, i would call it a 'no policy'. No bag checks, flashes going all around, very annoying. The usher guy would come around once in a while and tell people to put down their cameras, but it would start right after he left.
    my signature.
  • fair enough.....:)
im sure its gonna be a great time sitting or standing

  • I dont get why people even bother using flashes? The pictures come out so much better without using the flash because you get all the colors in the lights. If you use a flash, you wash out the lighting...

But it is good to know they aren't checking. ;)

Right, yes, everyone stood during Arc too ;)

I was so surprised nothing was checked and they were more concerned I not take in my water bottle than anything else, I could have had anything in my bag... very strange. I saw so many people filming the whole thing, it's not even funny and people kept walking right up to the front of the stage and taking photos! I was in the 8th row (thanks 10c) and I couldn't believe that security would just tell these people to go back to their seats... after they'd taken a pic right down the front. Kinda strange.

The price of stardom, he'll survive, they are famous for a reason and it's not a big deal if some average joe gets good seats and wants to remember the day/night. He'll deal with it......
