I'm going to DC tonight and have not heard any camera rules. I know the band allows them on the regular tour. I got some good shots at the Verison center in June. Anyway, if any one knows, post up.

There are times when the lights were on enough to get a decent shot. I think it was worth taking.
  • Just called Warner Theater to be safe, her words were....... "No CAMERAS NO FLASH NONE AT ALL" I guess because its such a small venue. Who Knows? But I ain't loosing my camera. Spread the info... No Cameras! Thanks

Different rules for different venues. In Boston and Montreal they were making people check their cameras if they saw you had one, but in NY they let you keep it, just told you no flash photography. Best plan is to hide it if you bring it.

Montreal 2 was tight though, I still notice a few flashes but it wasn't as bad as night 1. Big thanks to Eddie for not getting too frustrated by them.

Montreal wasn't too bad, but Toronto, it seemed like security didn't even care. Its so annoying seeing flashes, and even when flash is not used, when someone in front of you keeps holding up a camera, it is annoying. Something is out of balance when people are more focused on capturing something than actually focusing on and enjoying the moment.

how about the people who had those huge cellphone screens. ya know the ones i'm talking about. i seen like a few dozens who had them the whole time on. the huge white glow was just insane to not get distracted by them.

Yes I totally do know what you mean - very distracting. I was holding up my bunched up hoodie on the armrest at one point to block one out of peripheral vision so I could pay attention to the man up front better. My daughter was evesdropping on a guy's texts to a girl because the screen was so bright (she's 14, and does that so be warned people if you sit near a little imp with a lip pierce - she'll read your stuff and tell her evil friends what you said if you text enough to distract her during the show ;) ).

  • In NY there were flashes going off all over the place. They barely checked us on our way in, either.

I was there last night...they took cameras as you came in (metal detectors) but you could get them back after the show.

Cell phones had to be turned off.

People still got them in somehow, anyway, but it wasn't as bad as it usually is.

I'd just leave the camera at home....
