PJ inside or outside?

Just want to get your opinion on seeing PJ inside in the big venues, or outside at an Amphitheater. I personally think the guys get off on being outside and have much more energy. In particular, at the VA Beach show, Eddie mentioned the full moon like 5 times, was a perfect evening. I went to both the VB and DC shows, both shows were great, but I thought they put more into it outside at the beach. Plus, something about being inside at places like the Verizon Center seems way too corporate. Thoughts?

    Personally, I've always enjoyed the outdoor shows the best.

    I like arenas, you feel closer to the band and other fans. and though the sound quality is better in an amphitheater, I like the way rock music just bounces off everything in an arena.

    My favorite place on the PLANET to see them is under the tent at the Shoreline Amphitheater. Technically that is outside but being under the tent is awesome.

    this is a tough one, i guess it depends on the venue. nothing beats the gorge yet two of the top 3 shows ive seen were arenas. I would go with inside mainly because of acustics
    Small my table, seats just 3, its not crowded, its just lucky me

    Outside shows are always better. More room to move and dance, the lawn, sunshine/moonlight things are always better enjoyed outside!

    I've only seen them outside once, Randalls Island, NY, Sept 1996 in the rain and mud. One of the best shows ever.

    But overall I'd say inside. If they play the Gorge again I'll go, and edit this post if needed. Lol.

    To me the sound is much better in an outdoor venue.

    Outside if its an ampitheater, as opposed to a festival like lolla last year

    i have seen some amazing outdoor shows - Reading Festival/Nijmegen
    I have seen some amazing indoor shows - MSG's/Wembley
    I have seen some amazing amphitheatre shows - Hartford/Mansfield 2

    depends a lot on the show, they all have good or bad points
    no real fave!
