Chicago Ticket Drop?

Has TM dropped tickets to any of the shows before the actual date of the show? I am working on getting 2 tickets for the Friday Chicago show, and I would rather buy them right from TM than from Stubhub, etc.

    yes - there has been drops.

    Have there been drops before the actual day? I know that tickets are being dropped for tonight's show, I just wondered if the fact that I am obsessively checking ticketmaster everyday for the show 8/22 is a waste of time, or if they may drop early.

    Yesterday, the Montreal venue released a bunch of tickets for both Sat & Sun shows, so yes I think they can drop prior to the show date.

    Make sure you're checking the venue website, not just TM - good luck!

    Thanks-I checked the site, and the ticketmaster site is linked, but there is a phone number. I will try that as well.

    I tell you-you are my good luck charm! I called the number and she told me that they were sold out and wouldn't be dropping any more seats. Then, she goes "this is wierd, the promoter said it is sold out, but I just pulled up 2 seats!" I got 2 great seats. I then logged onto ticketmaster.com and they had tickets as well, but they weren't as good. I was going to post a new thread, but when I checked again, they were gone.
    I am psyched!!
