    My friend in Seattle hooked me up with the combo set. Not sure why Best Buy Canada couldn't offer it up here too.

    Still one of the cheapest & greatest CD & vinyl combo specials I've seen in a long, long time.

    Pearl Jam should TOTALLY do this for their next record release with Best Buy.

    link's still open but the deal is dead. you get an error message saying the code (rather than the promotion) has expired. email support and they say the promotion ended 12/31/16. anyone know if badmotorfinger is also dead?

    I wish Best Buy Canada would do this too. They really seem to phasing themselves out of the physical media game. Even their website doesn't have much on it anymore. The CD/Vinyl combo for new releases sounds brilliant. I usually buy them separately, so buying a combo seems that much better.

    BMF was a separate link so maybe it's still open. They started it after TOTD.

    Keep in mind that it isn't Best Buy running the promotion, but rather a different outfit out of Florida. I emailed them, saying that I ordered it on 1/9, got called out of town and didn't even get to it until 1/16. They actually had the gall to suggest that I return it to Target (yes, that's what they said) for a refund. In that same email, they said the promotion expired on 12/31. I emailed them a link to this thread, showing that people were still buying it and apparently even redeeming it up until the extended offer of 1/13.

    How in the heck can I return it when I already opened it AND the website was still active on 1/16?

    I tried calling them up to get an answer and the only outgoing message I got said the guy was out of the office and will return "in September."

    I wish they would have printed the expiration date on the outside of the package.  What the hell is UMG doing with all of these extra LP's?  It doesn't sound like they ran out early...

    They did these for quite awhile, and all you had to do was enter a code into a website.  Kinda a no brainer on how easy it was.
