I don't. It was great to see it. I was almost the last row and had the best time. I thought crowd was great and respectful and the music and banter were terrific.

I don't know about Night 1 vs Night 2 because I only went last night. But what's the point of comparing. On it's own last night was fantastic. I enjoyed the moment and didn't worry what was played and what was not.

How could the summer be any better than seeing your favorite band and see the lead singer do something completely different.

The crowd at the bar beforehand was great too!

what were the stories about her that ed told?

Not sure if anyone answered this question.

Ed told a story about Olivia and how when he was in the studio recording the ITW sountrack that she came to watch. So she wanted to know what it was about and he told her it was about a boy and a bear but the bear was not going to eat the boy and the boy was running away from his parents...but then he changed it and told her the boy was running away from the bear because he didn't want her to tunr on him on day in the future. He said she was 3 at the time and intense and very into the Into the Wild story, but he knew the content was too mature for her. It was a cute glimpse into his relationship with his young daughter. Nice moment. Like storytellers.

I was in the loge. I thought there were a lot of obnoxious people up top. Yelling stuff out at him all the time. One guy yells"f*ck you!" after one of Ed's political moments. This is exactly what gives NYers a bad rep. Cause there are plenty of behaved NYers that are there to appreciate the music for it's worth. I need to get 10C tix next time...I had to settle for ticketmaster this show. It was a GREAT show none-the-less! I am always sad the AM after cause I want to hear more. Liam Finn and EJ were great too.

My hubby and I were there on Monday - 25 years married now. Last night, I went solo *actually had 2 of my 3 daughters there, but we all sat separately* and when I heard Ed give props to the 20 plus, I teared up and wished the hubby was sitting next to me again. Then when Ed went all Barry White on us and sounded like, well, ummmm ... you know how he sounded...I was kinda glad the hubby wasn't there :)

Last night - as another poster said - was THE all-around best concert experience I've ever had.

night #2 had much more yelling from the crowd. ed said all he hears when people yell is " I'M AN IDIOT"- "everytime".

i think the jersey show may have some special guests (ie BEN HARPER) because the all points fest is this coming weekend and a bunch of ed's friends will be close by.

ok just to touch up on a few things that people missed out on or to elaborate a bit more now that Im fully awake and have taken it all in.
The Olivia story in full: Ed talking about the "Don't come closer or I'll have to go" part as she's hiding behind his leg in the studio and stops ed and says "WHOA WHOA WHOA......WHOA.....what do you MEAN, don't come closer or I'll have to go? Why Daddy???" and ed trying to be a "slick daddy" (as he introed MOTH he said it was about a slick dad, so he mentions it again for himself) tries to explain to her.."No no no...not me!..The BOY!"...."But why dadyy..why does he want to go if you get closer??". Ed almsot lost now like..'How do I explain this to a 3 yrs old" Having a hard time and says the bear was near the boy so the boy told the BEAR!!!" and he starts cracking up at how he was able to turn it around saying "SHES SO INTENSE!" and so he finishes off by saying thats what its like to be a dad..trying to be slick or something and I forgot exactly how he put it, but he goes...Hopefully she feels the same way about me later on..which drew a big AWWW from the crowd

funny moment: with all the outbursts and yes even I followed with a LETS GO RANGERS chant after Hailhailvitalogy..couldnt help it with all the lundqvuist and ranger tees in the house..not to mention Messier was in the building, right b4 No More ed goes "you know? such a tiny lil place and you could kinda hear it all echoing up here pretty clearly..every word you guys say..like all of you saying something and all I can hear you guys screaming is
"Im...an ..IDIOT!" lol for those of us who screamed out shit thru the night..and goes.."Fuck, I dont mean to insult my fans right b4 I ask you all to singalong to the next one, lmao"...starts it off, fucks up and say.."Nah, fuck, it..I'm not feelin it now, lol"...few mins later..Ok NOW Im feeling it, lets go

    oh and in the beginning
Ed chants got him to say "Ok now we know each other on a first name basis..you guys know the singers name,.cool, Thank you now lets not chant his name again for the rest of the evening..or we'll bring out a cover band or something?? some shit like that

nice to get a few diff songs, cool to hang with a lot of you guys and hailhail finally. I had a great time and now I want some live Pearl Jam!!! lol
Jeff was in the house apparently too last night..people saw him walk into the bus with Danny Clinch and Susan, Jim James and Bruuuucccce!!!! :D
Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
