Man, flipper is who sell on Ebay, looking only for high money at each sale. I just look to sell to recover my coast and respect the EA average prices of each print (you know what is that)
    Is wrong to you?

vini is a good guy. prices are below EBeens averages and Ebay prices. And.. prices include shipping.

    Thanks my friend
yep, shipping from Brazil is 20-25$ plus paypal taxes is 8% for me.
and pay around 60$ each for arrive in Brazil.

The averages are driven up by the initial hysteria. I can get each of these prints for cheaper BINs on ebay.

This is flipping. These are posters purchased in the last few weeks listed at 3 and 4 times their prices. The expressobeans value has been set by flipping prices (and goes down over time as people who actually want them get them settled into their collections). These prices are maxing out without ebay fees.

Its fine. It seems to be accepted here and there arent rules against it. If someone wants these, theyll buy them. Thats fine. But let's call a spade a spade

Well said..... Let's bring some price order around here. Nothing personally against you, OP, but these are $35 posters.

Expressobeans should maybe only be used to post posters for trade or sale. Referencing Expressobeans for prices should mean nothing to people. People will simply pay what they think is justified for a $35 poster. Making money off some one else's art is crooked.

    Have a nice week everyone.
  • why are people busting the guy's chops? don't like the price, don't buy it. very simple. any of the ones giving input ever tried for the 10c sale? sometimes can be as difficult as standing in line all that time. nothing crooked about selling what belongs to you for a fair market price. anyone wanna sell me their Porsche Cayenne for cheap since they're not producing that vehicle anymore? i mean, since market value isn't really a consideration and all... smh

100% agree. Once you buy it, it is your property. Guarantee you that all of these people whining about others "flipping" this or that have sold many things for more than what they paid...

For those complaining about flippers, you're not focusing your anger towards the appropriate group. The real idiots are the ones paying 5x the original price. The buyers set the market, not the sellers.

I dont have a problem with it... but calling it anything other than flipping is farcical.

I got shut out of the msg print... if cardoso didnt grab an extra one, would i have gotten one? Probably not. For every cardoso here, there are dozens on ebay and others here thinly disguised, like the guy offering like 4 2016 prints for a cracker jack.

It has been established that this is ok here. In fact, i would almost say it is encouraged. They have created this microeconomy around the band. Everything is speculated and valued. Without it, we wouldnt get a whole lot of great merch that we see. The great poster artists wouldnt be quite as compelled to make pj prints, variants if you are into that, etc...
Unfortunately, it also results in limited runs, long merch lines/camping out, non pj fan involvement, and it becoming increasingly difficult to score items you covet, even for shows you attended.

I have flipped before. I had a pitts 13 ap i bought on fleabay and happened to be on when the 10c sale happened. Picked it up and later traded it for a riot act vinyl. Im sure we have all done it to various degrees

Where am i going with this? I dont know.

I dont have a problem with selling non-ticket items at any price.
If the market is tough for tickets, that sucks, as you are taking away the actual experience of the concert away from some people, and I encourage face value ticket sales.

Posters, shirts, etc. Its all just additional stuff. Merch is something that is not a necessity. You're not missing out on the actual experience of the concert if you cant get/afford a poster or a shirt. It's something that is cool to have if you can, but totally different than not being able to afford tickets to the actual concert.

Also, the band loves the business of having posters being sold at a high markup. If they do not create this insane demand, and everyone knows they can always get it later, shows with posters like the Jacksonville one will end up selling very few, leaving the band with extras that dont sell, and end up in clearance for 17.50 like the Tulsa print.

I have sold face value tickets on here, and even given them away before, never made a dollar on a ticket. But, I always get 2 posters if it is a good one and I am there, and the second one is always purchased with the intent that I will just use it as trade bait for some other high-priced item that I miss out on, and I have no problem saying I do this.

OP can do whatever the hell they want. I was just pointing out that there's another chance to buy these posters for $35 instead of $135.

It's not just Pearl Jam. In fact, their merch is comparable with basically any other popular band/act. Problem is we seem to take the merch a lot more seriously. I agree, it's just stuff. But the merch side of the band is simply a hobby, like anything else. Doesn't take away from the music for me, actually enhances it when I see a poster of a show I went to 10+ years ago hanging on the wall.
