Hey everyone,

Does anybody in Canada have any Toronto 1 stickers they would be willing to trade straight-up for my Toronto 2 stickers? I have up to 3 stickers from T2 that I would be willing to trade, and 3-for-3 would be my ideal scenario.

Let me know if you are interested. Cheers!

Long weekend bump! One trade is in the works, and I'm still looking to trade up to 2 more stickers :)

It's been a while since I've used Lost Dogs so I am not sure if a "good buyer / seller / trader" thread still exists. But I would just like to thank ST66483 for a great trade. Great communication and highly recommended.

I have two more T2 stickers to trade if anyone else is up for it!

I have one but not I'm not in Canada :(
On another note - how are you doing with the Gord announcement? You and I did a trade? for some Hip vinyl a few years back or you sent me in the right direction? Can't remember but I know you like the Hip.

The Gord Downie announcement hit very close to home. The Hip were, and still are, the soundtrack to countless memories with family and friends at the cottage and camping, playing their songs around the campfire and things like that. So it felt like it was happening to a really close relative of mine.

But he has been fighting and has some time left, especially if doctors have cleared him to tour. So I'm hoping to see them one more time when they come around.

Oddly enough, I received a piece of Hip vinyl in the mail the day that the news about Downie's condition broke. Do you recall what I sold / traded you? Are you still collecting Hip vinyl?

Sorry to butt in....was reading the thread.....
I think I can speak on Drivets behalf and say that Canada is devastated by the news that we're eventually losing this Canadian Legend. Pretty much anyone in Canada that was born before 1990 knows their music and loves their talent.

There's currently a petition that he be honored with The Order of Canada(Huge Deal)

Gordie could go on to live many happy years(and man we hope he does)...It's just sad for us that we wont get to enjoy their music with them at their shows. I think it's insanely gracious that Gord Downies family is sharing him with us one last time. Incredibly selfless act on their part.

So now Canada is in a frenzy to be able to attend one of their last shows this summer. Presale is Monday and I think every show is going to sell out insanely fast!

Hope to get my paws on tickets to at least one of the last shows.....

    Peace.Love.Music.Always......

I believe it was for some 12" singles and you gave me a heads up on Road Apples being released by MOV. And yes - whenever I can find some vinyl by them!

I cried a bit as I really love the Hip and I had a dear brother in law die from brain cancer at the young age of 49. I plan on seeing at least one show and hopefully more if I'm lucky enough to score a tix.

    Take care,

    Jim

I agree with everything you wrote! Even though I'm from Michigan the Hip play in Detroit almost everytime they tour and I am there every time. Have seen them 20+ times at all sorts of venues and they are definitely a top 5 favorite band of mine all time.

God Bless the band, family and friends and I hope to be able to score some tickets!

Good luck in your quest for tickets!

    Jim
