CLOSED: I'M OFFERING TO PICK UP A PEARL JAM HOCKEY SWEATER/JERSEY FOR YOU ON THURSDAY!!!

This offer is now closed. I've received the maximum number of orders/payments I can handle. Thanks for everyone's interest.

Here's the deal...

Unfortunately I can not go to the concert on Thursday but I will have time to pick up a hockey sweater at the outside merch booth after work. Since I'm going to be there I'm offering to help out any fan who wants one. I'll pick up any hockey sweater you want (pending availability). I'm only accepting requests for the hockey sweaters. NO other merch (so please don't ask).

I'm asking for $180 US per sweater. This will include the cost of shipping to anywhere in Canada or the US. Payment must be made in advance via PayPal and funds must be sent as a gift - don't forget to include your top three sweater/size combinations in the note. If they are sold out of all your requests I'll refund your money. If they limit the number of sweaters I can buy I'll work my way down the list in the order I received payment.

If you're interested send me a PM and I'll give you my PayPal address.

From what I gather this is what has been available - although I have no idea if they still have stock in all sizes (and I'm making an educated guess about Toronto 2):

Quebec M/L/XL/XXL
Ottawa M/L/XL/XXL
Toronto 1 M/L/XL/XXL
Toronto 2 M/L/XL/XXL

UPDATE: If you're worried about sending the funds as a "gift" I'm more than happy to send you an invoice for $189 US to cover the PayPal "convenience" fee.

Just a quick update. I've had a LOT of interest and messages but only one person so far has sent me money. I'll only pick up a maximum of 5-10 hockey sweaters and the only dibs that count as far as I'm concerned are the ones that come with payment. So if you really want one there's still time. I'll update the OP once I've hit the maximum I'm willing to pick up.

  • Hello faithful,
I'd like a large Toronto jersey. If I send money now will I make the top few on the list or is too late? Thanks for the generosity.

    Best wishes,
    Kevin

Thank you for closing this. Every minute it stayed open I was closer to getting kicked in the balls and humiliated by my wife once the "pearl jam sweater" showed up in the mail. So so glad I stayed away. If I had dropped $180 on this freaking thing that would sit in my closet in the bag it comes in I don't think I could have survived the onslaught.

Ha that's hilarious. I feel the same way about 80% of the PJ shit I buy. Always hope the package gets delivered when I'm the first one home to retrieve it. :)

They figure no sane person exists who has $900-1800 to buy 5-10 sweaters. :)

I hope so too. I'm bringing a list of member names with me so at least I'll have that to show. Plus, while the sweaters are quite popular and people seem to really like them, I don't think many people are actually buying them. They are pretty cost prohibitive for the average fan.
