    Speaking of the Habs, wasn't there a riot when they were eliminated from the playoffs?? WTF? And if I remember correctly, there was a riot in Vancouver after the Cup finals in '94? Don't get me wrong, I've been to Canada 1/2 dozen times and I always love it...maybe it just seems even more serious when it happens there?

    Thanks for clearing that up for me. I saw it on the news but it was in French so I didn't really know what went on.

    I still haven't watch TV yet since I got back but will definitely watch to understand what happened.

    Im intrigued why the female lowered her gun to protect her partner???????? Wouldn't drawing your weapon be more within 'protection'??

    I think there's a lack of funding for youth activities in those neighborhoods- just my guess though. And even if there are activity facilities for youths to go to, sometimes the local gangs and drug-dealers have more influenced with the trouble kids.
