Rate your top three PJ side projects over the bands history ?

pljampljam Posts: 387
Love most of the side projects of PJ ,was interested to see how other fans rate them, excluding INTO THE WILD even though it is theoretically is a side project but as it is a solo and a brilliant one at that

1st TEMPLE OF THE DOG. A truely faultless album that will stand the test of time
2nd. MAD SEASON. Same as above
3rd THREE FISH. Love both albums ,cant seperate them, wish Jeff would do a third release

    1st - RNDM
    2nd - Mad Season
    3rd - Three Fish

.... I guess. TOTD is obviously awesome too, although can that even be considered a side project? It was recorded before the band's first album was even released. It is more just "a project". And an honorable mention for Moonlander btw. Stone did a good job with that.

Only 3 I've really ever listened to, so it's not exactly an objective top 3.

Did they ever actually record anything together, or was it just the live performances? Did they ever write any original music together? I've never even heard of EV playing with C-Average before, so these videos on youtube are interesting.

Just a few performances, no recorded material. It probably doesn't count as a side project, but I love listening to these.

    Temple
    Mad Season
Tres Mts - because Mike toured with them and burned those small venues to the ground

But honestly, Into The Wild is my fave by far... total classic in my opinion

    Mirror Ball
    The Rockfords
    Into The Wild

Would have said Mirror Ball, but I consider it a Neil Young album.
