And it was much better in 2008 because the H2I opener shocked everyone, then All Night debuted, then the return of Who You Are and WMA, Love Reign in the first set, and Release in the encore. That was a very fun setlist thread to follow.

Which year did you attend that you found boring? I find this statement a little perplexing, in a small town built around love of music there is always something to do.

Have any of you been to Bonnaroo? It is perhaps my favorite place. So many diverse music acts. Much better vibe than any other festival. And Pearl Jam can play as long as they want to (no curfew, and headliners can play as long as they want). I already have my Roo tickets, so this news just sent me over the edge with excitement!

    This Guy Gets Me!!!

PJ was the reason i started going to Bonnaroo, and i haven't missed one since then. I've been waiting for them to return since. It's my favorite weekend of the year, an adult disney world. Come join the party!
2013 was my first Roo, and was by far my favorite festival out of the many I have been to. I was already going to go this year if the lineup was good, but I will definitely be going back if PJ is headlining. :joy:

Used to go to Roo all the time when I lived in Indy. Got to catch the 2008 show. Unfortunately, it's a little far out of the way from where I'm at these days. And taking four-five straight days off work isn't feasible if I want to catch more solo PJ dates. However, great deal about this news is it implies we'll likely get the full list of shows for the year and most definitely through the summer in January, considering Bonnaroo is all the way in June.

First "part" of next year? Yeah, define "part"? January? February? March?

Bonnaroo line up dropped in the middle of January last year, I'd look for it in the same timeframe this year. Several big fest dropped lineups early this year, so who knows realy.

2005...it was ok. Still find it hard to believe Nashville lost out.

By looking at the lineups, it seems like 2006 was the year Roo became more than just jam bands.

These comments makes me more angry than it should. I GOT NEWS FOR YOU GUYS, WE IN EUROPE JUST LOVE PEARL JAM AS MUCH AS YOU GUYS DO. DON'T THINK ABOUT YOURSELFES ONLY PLEASE. All Europe bands comebine their tours with America too, it's only fair if they do the same.

    Peace out.
