Pearl Jam obviously pushed their tour announcement back to January to let Bonnaroo announce their line up first as I had mentioned. A bridgestone employee was asked if Pearl Jam was playing Nashville and she said no, they opted for Bonnaroo instead. The legit email has been forwarded to me, here is the pic of it

There was no tour announced so they didn't cancel one

Dagger, would much rather see PJ in Nashville, no interest in Bonnaroo at all. Hope this does not hurt other southern shows.

Pearl Jam rarely tours America in the summer because they're always seem to be in Europe. It's about time they prioritize their own country.

Same here. I love Nashville. That city is awesome. Was definitely planning on hitting up a show there if it happened.

Have any of you been to Bonnaroo? It is perhaps my favorite place. So many diverse music acts. Much better vibe than any other festival. And Pearl Jam can play as long as they want to (no curfew, and headliners can play as long as they want). I already have my Roo tickets, so this news just sent me over the edge with excitement!

Major disappointment if this is true! Do not want to go to Bonnaroo. I was so looking forward to a Nashville show.

PJ was the reason i started going to Bonnaroo, and i haven't missed one since then. I've been waiting for them to return since. It's my favorite weekend of the year, an adult disney world. Come join the party!

That's a weird thing to say. They played 38 shows in US vs. 12 in EU in 13/14.

I will gladly trade short summer tours (with shorter festival gigs) for 20+ show tour in autumn,
