I just went to pull up the show in flac on my computer because I've mostly forgotten Seattle I (except crown of thorns). I saw timeless melody and clicked on it (forgot this was one of the 2000 cover staples). Strange singer singing... then I remember Supergrass opened Portland, Boise, and Seattle I (we got wellwater conspiracy for night 2). Then I remember we had RHCP opening both Seattle shows too. That was pretty epic. I remember both Seattle shows going quite late for arena shows. I think Seattle II got out after 12:30, 1am ish. They've never played Key that late again.. lol.

i remember all the boots specifically and can hear exactly what was going on.. the element was weed, alcohol and most of all pj love..
listened in the back of my car was blown away.....with love for this band couldnt move had to listen to the whole show also had to listen to the another in my living room could smell the weed throughout the show lol was stoned clean.....
but listened to the earlier boise boots a few times mostly trippin or tipsy and felt the same way but then again more adventurous boots than seattle more of a person pleaser balanced with good
restraints was no candle wax on the ears..
still searching for the best boots to listen to with a good pot of brew or wine or whiskey or what have you..

I love this bootleg, esp. as RVM is the fourth song on the setlist!

Solid show! It weirds me out that 2000 was 15 years ago.

Yeah, I think Seattle I gets a bad rap because of the crowd. The band played a great set. And so did RHCP, on both nights.

Historically Seattle used to be 50/50 on the crowds. Seattle I's were historically much mellower than Seattle II's. The part that's really weird about that is that the the 10c never used to offer tickets for the 2nd show. So all those classic Seattle II performances over the years were to not 10c arenas :)

Great post. Seattle 2 '00 used to be legendary for a long time.

My all time #1 show. So many great ones since it, but this one hit so hard and deep for so many reasons.
