Besides iTunes, what are some good programs for ripping CD's? Preferably ones that convert to ALAC

I use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) when ripping CD's & programmed the software to convert the .wav files to Flac that securely rips & detects any errors includes .log & .md5 files on Windows. I also use dBpoweramp Music Converter for converting any audio file to whatever I want. It's pretty freaking sweet.

    Ripping CD's on a Mac, try http://sbooth.org/Rip/ or http://wiki.hydrogenaud.io/index.php?title=XLD .

EAC, best one to use. I also use it to check peak levels, so I can check for certain masterings.
  • I'll have to check these out. Always interested to see what is being used to great success.
