Based on logistics I'd expect the Florida dates to be either the beginning of the tour or the end. I'd bet on the beginning of the tour and the rest of the tour running into late march/Early April.

I'd love to celebrate my 30th birthday with some shows

The Fl shows will be in March/Early April and not at normal Tampa/West Palm venues so I'm told BBandT center in Ft Lauderdale& Okeechobee fest are the 2 venues I am aware of with another north in the state.

    What's your source?
Very reliable Higher up within Live Nation.(the show is in a live nation venue).

I can't confirm Okeechobee fest that's just speculation but there is talk. But BBandT in Lauderdale has booking notification. And a hold in place.

Are those venues far enough away from each other? Would a festival allow a traditional show that close?
I think they are far enough away. Tampa and Orlando are actually closer so I think the festival would prevent bands from playing those cities but probably not the Miami area.

I believe they are. The festival is actually closer to Tampa and Orlando so the band's probably won't be allowed to play those cities but the Miami area would be allowed. Okeechobee Fest will be run by the same organization that runs Bonnaroo. The fest takes place March 4-6.
Based on these rumours, I'd be surprised if they play both the festival March 4-6 and Miami (someone posted BB&T late march or early April). One, it doesn't make a lot of sense geographically to loop around to Florida to start and end a tour. Two, the tours are rarely longer than three weeks now. If the tour starts March 4, I doubt the last show is much past March 25.
Based on logistics I'd expect the Florida dates to be either the beginning of the tour or the end. I'd bet on the beginning of the tour and the rest of the tour running into late march/Early April.
We usually get beginning of tour(like 08). Since this is an extension of the LB tour.No amphitheatres will be played. All arenas or festivals. So it will probably be Ft.Lauderdale,St.Pete or Orlando and Jville .best guess

I second that, thank you for the info!

One thing to remember is that Pearl Jam is notorious for having holds on a bunch of different venues when plotting a tour. There was Des Moines and Buffalo in 2006, Dallas in 2008, Dallas again and State College in 2010, Albany in 2013, just to name a few holds that were on but shows that didn't happen.

Rumors are good though! If they're playing March/April I'd assume they announce something soon-ish? I doubt tickets would go on sale after South America (December/January seems like a stupid time to announce a tour with money tied up for Christmas).

They've announced summer European tours around Christmas for the last few years. It does add to seasonal pressures but has to be done lol
