    Paul's the man! I understand the marital strife aspect. My wife calls PJ my "kryptonite". In St Louis last fall, I couldn't pass up the Live at Soldier Field from Vintage Vinyl for $150 and now have the original (minty green) and a unofficial boot (from Israel - no less). Still not sure how that was still available the day after the concert in primo, featured real estate right inside the door. Explaining to my wife how that impulse buy made sense to me was mission impossible. My most expensive item is my Benny that I bought off the boards when another member was in apparent financial distress - I think I was considerable help in turning things around for him. I can remember when Bennys went on sale (~2003) and at the time I was perfectly happy with a CD - hand to head now at passing up that opportunity. Getting into vinyl mid-to-late 2000s proved very costly. It does help that I spin my vinyl and accept non-skipping stuff as acceptable while getting as much new sealed stuff that is put out now. I don't (typically) get duplicates and rarely get variants (e.g. colored vinyl). Hence, PJ collecting on a modest budget.

    What the fuck?! That is insane!!! .... Although I guess it's all about perspective. Plenty of art goes for a LOT more than that. I have seen a ton of paintings that I'd love to own that cost much more than $1500 (that i can't afford)... Although those are all one of a kind originals done by hand, and never retailed for $30, lol.
