thanks for the info.HesCalledDyer said:
The Pittsburgh show was my first PJ show. I had no idea about posters and all that back then. I think I remember them selling generic Binaural tour posters there, with the album art and show dates.lolobugg said:

It's one of the 3 'Missing Link' posters along with Pittsburgh & Atlanta.2-feign-reluctance said:I don't get why that one is so sought after - it looks horrid.
I remember buying a poster and not even really looking at it....
came to find out that I had purchased some Euro poster with an astronaut on it.
Not sure why they were selling non show specifics posters....
what is the story with those missing links?
The story with the Missing Links, at least as I know it, is that those three shows didn't have posters for them. A group of three independent artists each designed a poster for one of the shows nearly a year later. They were for sale on their web site very briefly until PJ asked them to take them down. There were a limited number produced, and not all that were produced were sold so there are very few circulating in the secondary market.
Now, I've heard a few people say that yes, indeed, these posters were sold at the shows - but there was something fishy going on. Supposedly a handful of fans got them before the merch guys pulled them off the table. I've also heard people say that Missing Link was actually Ames Bros. And I've heard someone say they contacted 10C years ago and were told they have them in the warehouse but don't ever plan on selling them. I can neither confirm nor deny these pieces of info.
For the longest time, these posters were considered unofficial.. however, if you look at the setlist page for each of the three shows on this very website, the pictures they use are of the Missing Link posters...hmmm...
very intriguing. wonder which story is true?livefootsteps.org/user/?usr=446

Perhaps the Detroit hockey jersey is the most expensive sticker-price item sold at a show?0

not sure if this fits the category of merch, but I always thought the prices this thing fetches are sick.

Reading through this thread, it hit me how monetary expense has little or nothing to do with value.

I would say GITD pj20 or the Boxset sampler."Born on third, thinks he got a triple."0

GITD PJ20? I might have known that existed, but if I did I think I forgot. Although for some reason I just had the maybe-memory that only 10 were made, so perhaps I read that somewhere. Am I right?? Only 10 made? With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

Not even sure, just saw a picture of one for the first time not too long ago.PJ_Soul said:GITD PJ20? I might have known that existed, but if I did I think I forgot. The blue Vs is up there as well.
The PJ20 backpack also comes to mind. I'm sure the original PJ20 Blu-Ray is also up there.

MedozK, what do mean by "best" vinyl? Like, your favorite album? Best sounding PJ vinyl? Nicest looking? Just most expensive (perhaps that you own)? Something else? Just curious, since you said coloured PJ20 (Benny Hall makes sense to me on a few levels, so not surprised about that one). With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Of course. Something which originally sold for $4 could be worth $450 on the second-hand market in due time.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -
I know I'm gonna screw this up, so I apologize in advance.
Back in 96 or maybe it was 98, they did a show in the Washington DC "area" and I use the term rather loosely. The poster was a female, who was rather scantily clad. The poster was pulled.
Does ANYONE have any idea of what I speak?Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0 -

Now...if you're talking about most expensive from the store... the Ten Super Deluxe (and Vs/Vitalogy) later were a pretty penny...even before shipping costs.Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"0
