it's great to see Mike stretch his musical boundaries. But, all you really need to do is get a spotlight and stage and put Mike up there, on it and in it.

I'm hoping there will be a DVD / Blu-ray release of this event. Gonna be lots of special guests. Won't be surprised if Ed shows up & kick out the jams.
Going forward, it will be interesting to see if this experience and new found knowledge of musical structure will influence Mike's writing of new material.
