GREATEST RVM EVER

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVtal1ldXlg

Can't believe I traveled 6 weeks ago to Europe. This and Jeremy were the best parts of the night. Amazing energy on the floor.

I walked out of the Leeds show this year and was floored by the rvm there. I saw it 4 times this year but that one was so tight .. So on it .. So powerful and the build to the end was a monster .... Absolutely tremendous moment

RVM is one of the songs that I would not mind hearing at every show I go to. It reminds me of personal hard times and getting over stuff that made me a sad person. It is like a remembrance of why I live my life how I live it now every time I hear it, and I never get tired of it. So, in a way, every version I hear of it when I am actually there, is the best at that moment :D

great version, but jones beach 2000 will always remain my favorite. the jams at the end of most versions from 2000 were always so raw.

What makes this version so special? Seems pretty normal by PJ standards.

Agree with Evenflow 82, nothing over the top. Just a great version of the song. Dc 06 is my favorite.

I love this song, but I have to say it's not what it used to be. Ed is gasping for air towards the end, the build up after the jam is always a let down.. Even the verse sections early in the song are not executed like they once were. This song has not been the same since around 1996.

The version that aired on SNL is my favorite.

I watched your version from Jones Beach. Somehow, I like the jam part faster, which they've been doing after 2006, I guess. But each to their own.

What made these Euro-14 versions special were the heavy crowd involvement. If you don't like crowd participation, these versions might not be electrifying for you.

OP's version is Amsterdam, Night 2, I think. I prefer Night 1 version better to this one. Also, The version in Vienna-14 is also great.

Ed shouldn't play guitar after the middle jam. He should just focus on the words. Too many words are forgotten, glossed over and un-mic-ed in that last verse.

How come EV never sings the "I couldn't breathe..." line anymore during the first "chorus?" I believe he just does the "head at your feet" line twice.

Anyway, the greatest RVM is the one that has not been played, yet.

They either need to slow it down or have Ed play less guitar.

Lyrically, Ed hasn't sung whipping like the studio version in years. "Just like you, think we've had enough" has been replaced with, "Don't get behind, I can't fall back" or something like that. What's up with that?
