Pearl Jam have teamed with the folks at Songza for a history lesson on "The Early Years of Grunge." The Seattle survivors — who released their 10th studio album, Lightning Bolt, last fall — have curated a special playlist that honors the heroes of their pioneering hometown — specifically Green River, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, and Alice in Chains. As heard below, the exclusive playlist features tracks by all of the aforementioned artists (including, of course, Pearl Jam themselves), and offers a look at grunge's nascent days, before the genre took command of the Billboard charts. Revisit the late '80s and early '90s, and let the flannel fly.

I didn't get a lot of repeats, only one or two. But I also didn't get any Pearl Jam! I see you got Breath. So funny.

Did anyone hear any new songs on PJ's Playlist that hasn't been mentioned above?

I heard the 4 hour playlist. After the Alice In Chains - Got Me Wrong (repeat), for another hour they played all repeated songs. Someone on Jeff's Army Facebook page said they played a few songs that were not listed above. Would love to know which one's.

    Thanks!
