Try vacuuming with it on in the background, and you'll hear it.

The root chords of GTF and Going to California are the same, but I don't think they really sound similar.

Mccready sounds like just about any bar band guitarist in his age range. A little Hendrix, a little SRV, a little EVH.

you Otter just calm down there brosefina!
geniuses like Mike, Mozart, Hendrix, Buddy guy (the man hendrix imitated) all are able to create classics in the STYLE of other greats, it doesn't mean it's imitation, it'scalled mastery of music.
the most obvious one is Nothing As it Seems/Pink Floyd

I notice similarities but I wouldn't say its a knock off or a copy.

    Wind this thing up.

Completly agree, if you listen closely to Hendrix / Page / Bonamassa etc. this is clearly evident

yessit mr guy is the man! he has a huge stage presence and was the first blues guy to really rock the the fuck out! I read in an article that said when Hendrix was still playing clubs he once skipped his own gig cuz Buddy was in town playing and he had to see it!
