Taking my metal fan brother

I've been trying to get my 15-year-old brother to a PJ show for a while, but it's never worked. So I grabbed some tickets to the Sunday DC solo show. For those that have been to solo shows already, what's the crowd like? Sitting, standing, singing? I understand there's been some yelling jerks, but what's new? He's into guitar and naturally wants to be a rock star, but what kind of show should I prepare him for? Thanks all, I know that's a lot of questions.

    Everybody sits.

If you brother is a metal fan, you should have started him off with a PJ show. Ed solo is about the farthest thing from metal.

Yeah, I wish it would have worked that way. I'm hoping it'll get him interested though, and he's definitely interested in all kinds of music. And I assure everyone he'll be respectful :)

Oh definitely take him. It is awesome. I am sure he'll have a great time. Just make sure you get him to a PJ show one day.

My brother just turned 21 and is a metal head. I took him to both garden shows, and now last nights Eddie show and he LOVED it.

I think if your brother is a musician, or wants to be, it is hard to not appreciate what is going on up there. And do yourself a favor and get there early for Liam Finn. Just WOW.

I made it a point to buy his CD at the show. Probably the first pearl jam opener EVER ive liked. (I just went to my 40 somethingth show).
