London and Wrigley bootlegs...

nevetsreddabnevetsreddab Chatham, Ontario Posts: 14
So can I just give up on anything being released from the London and Wrigley shows last summer? I just don't understand why they wouldn't put out bootlegs for these shows. Some posts had mentioned that the two summer shows were used to test out some things for the Lightning Bolt tour but I was at the London show and it was just amazing. Buffalo was good too but I would choose London over it if I had to pick. I don't know what is involved in bringing in the equipment needed to record the show but I can't see that being the reason why nothing has come out. Anyone heard anything?

Ive been wondering the same too. I hit london, wrigley and buffalo and london was my favorite night of the 3 personally. There is an audience boot, but i'd love to get an official boot.

I have heard nothing and have sort of given up on there being an official boot of the Wrigley show. And I'm very sad about it.

I could see them holding out on wrigley, but I don't see the point in holding back London when they are releasing other 2013 boots

The band typically does a warm-up show or two before any tour, and these shows are not included in the boots. At least that was the case in 2000 and 2006. I'm guessing London and Wrigley shows are being treated as warm ups? Fingers crossed for a vault release someday...

I would say wrigley has more potential for an official vault release. More moneymaking potential for that show and reason to hold on releasing it, because it was special. London I consider equal to any of the recent tour, so no reason not to release it.

yeah more money is exactly what they need. They have become the very whores they rallied against in the early 90's

How would you feel if your job said to you "yeah, you don't really need any more money, but feel free to keep doing your job"? Come on, man. Just because they release merchandise or whatever does not mean we are obligated to buy it. It's been said on here so many times...they release things that their fans want. If they don't release the bootlegs we want them (see this thread) and when they do they're whores?! Very strange.
